Yes. Authors may submit more than one manuscript, provided that each submission represents original and independent research and complies with the conference submission guidelines.

No. Submitted manuscripts must represent original work that has not been previously published, accepted for publication, or simultaneously submitted to another conference or journal during the review process.

All manuscripts must be submitted in English and prepared in accordance with the official GMEISS 2027 author guidelines and formatting template.

Submitted manuscripts should normally not exceed 5,000 words or approximately 12 pages, including figures, tables, appendices, and references.

The manuscript similarity index should not exceed 15%, excluding references, quotations, and properly cited material.

Yes. To preserve the integrity of the double-blind peer-review process, all submissions must be anonymized. Authors should remove names, affiliations, acknowledgements, funding information, and any other identifying information from the manuscript.

The corresponding author serves as the primary contact between the authors, the Conference Scientific Committee, and the publisher throughout the submission, review, and publication process — submitting the manuscript and required documents, ensuring all authors approved the submitted and final versions, confirming author order and affiliations, communicating editorial decisions to co-authors, submitting revisions and camera-ready materials on time, and serving as the sole point of contact for publication correspondence. Approvals or corrections submitted by the corresponding author are considered made on behalf of all authors.

All eligible submissions undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review conducted by at least two independent reviewers with expertise in the relevant subject area.

The complete peer-review process, from the submission deadline to the notification of the editorial decision, normally spans a minimum of five (5) weeks.

Yes. All submissions are reviewed based on the complete manuscript. Abstract-only or extended abstract submissions are not considered for publication in the conference proceedings.

Manuscripts are evaluated based on originality, scientific significance, methodological rigour, technical quality, relevance to the conference theme and selected track, quality of literature review, validity of data analysis, practical or societal impact, clarity of presentation, and overall contribution to existing knowledge.

Following peer review, manuscripts may receive one of the following decisions: Accept; Accept with Minor Revisions; Major Revisions Required; or Reject.

Authors whose manuscripts require revision will normally be given seven (7) days to submit a revised manuscript together with a detailed Point-by-Point Response Letter explaining how each reviewer comment has been addressed.

Yes. At least one registered author of each accepted paper must present the paper during the conference.

Failure to present an accepted paper without prior approval from the Organizing Committee may result in its withdrawal from the conference programme and exclusion from the conference proceedings and any associated post-conference publication opportunities.

Papers that are accepted through the conference peer-review process, presented during the conference, and comply with all registration, copyright, formatting, and publication requirements will be submitted to the publisher for consideration. Final publication remains subject to the publisher's editorial review, quality assurance procedures, and publication policies. Acceptance by GMEISS should be regarded as acceptance for presentation at the conference.

The acceptance letter confirms acceptance of the manuscript for presentation at the conference following successful peer review. Publication in the official proceedings remains subject to completion of all conference and publisher requirements, including registration, presentation, copyright, formatting, and the publisher's editorial review. The publisher reserves the right to decline publication if ethical concerns, significant quality issues, or policy violations are identified.

Yes. Selected outstanding papers may be invited to submit substantially extended versions for publication in partner international journals, edited books, or special issues — based on scientific quality, reviewer evaluations, presentation quality, and overall contribution.

Changes to the order of authors, corresponding author details, or institutional affiliations after submission of the camera-ready paper will only be considered under exceptional circumstances and with the prior written approval of the Conference Scientific Committee.

Authors wishing to withdraw a manuscript should notify the Conference Secretariat through email as early as possible. Withdrawal requests submitted after registration (payment), submission of the camera-ready paper, or finalisation of the publication files may not be accommodated and will be subject to the publisher's policies and publication schedule.

Registration fees are non-refundable once registration has been completed and payment received. The fee covers conference participation costs — peer review, editorial management, scientific evaluation, organisation, technical support, and networking — and is not a publication fee or guarantee of publication. Requests under exceptional circumstances may be considered solely at the discretion of the Conference Organising Committee.

Yes. Authors may use generative artificial intelligence tools for language editing, grammar checking, and readability improvement, provided that such use complies with the conference and publisher's policies. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, integrity, and scientific content of their manuscripts.
